J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring, Houghton Mifflin, 1st Edition, 3rd state

The Fellowship of the Ring appears to be a First Edition, 3rd state with no date on the title page and only "Printed in Great Britain" on the copyright page.

With light blue boards and bright gilt lettering it is in VG-- condition.

There is wear along the spine edges and a tiny lean with bumps at the corners and minor edgewear and discoloring of the spine.

The map at the rear is fully attached and intact.

This is a very collectable and good looking 1st edition of The Fellowship of the Ring.
