Hardback rebound in green leather with gilt raised compartments to spine with titles and date, internally beautiful condition, all pages complete with slight correct age toning.
A lovely signature of JRR Tolkien has been tipped in, inside the front and looks stunning with gold leaf borders to match the binding.
Gold leaf page edges all round, End papers of Thrors map at front and Wilderland to rear. No writing, no annotations, no inscriptions, a wonderful copy.
