Alan Lee signing events - illustrator of Children of Hurin (05.03.07 by Pieter Collier) - Comments

The Children of Hurin - cover by Alan Lee
Alan Lee was one of the two lead concept artists for the 'Lord of the Rings' movie trilogy, Alan Lee won an Academy Award in 2004 for his work on 'The Return Of The King'. Now Alan Lee illustrated the Children of Hurin and also the cover image is by his hand.

Painstakingly reconstructed by Christopher Tlkien from his father's manuscripts, this book tells tales of Morgorth, Glaurung and the World before Sauron. Featuring magical illustrations by Alan Lee throughout, this is a missing chapter in the greatest fantasy saga of them all.

While the editor Christopher Tolkien will not do any signings, Alan Lee will be signing the book at different locations. Here is a list of signing events where Alan Lee will be signing the Children of Hurin.
