Books about J.R.R.Tolkien

Recent polls have consistently declared that J.R.R. Tolkien is "the most influential author of the century," and The Lord of the Rings as "the book of the century." In the decades since his death in September 1973, millions have read The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and The Silmarillion and become fascinated about the very private man, the creator, behind the books. Now days after the making of the 11 oscar movies even more people are trying to learn more about Tolkien, almost all questioning who the man is behind this incredible beautifull siub-creation called Middle-earth.

At the left and in the gallery above are listed some of the major (and minor) works about Tolkien and once in a while more will be added, since tons of books about Tolkien are standing on my bookshelves waiting to be put on this website. The list is immensly long and there for all additions by all of you are happely accepted (please work them out nicely). Just post them to me at info@tolkienlibrary.com... i'll add your names (and links) of course!
