This specially bound and fascimile edition, published in 2005, has been limited to 100 copies.

This handmade book, The Tales From Middle-Earth, contains the text of The Hobbit, the Fellowship of the Ring part1 & 2, and the first 5 chapter from the Two Towers, 334 pages together.
Each volume features Bevel-Edged boards, gilded page edges, and original silk bookmark sewn in. Handwritten Tales from Middle-Earth. The text of the original book is not only handwritten - but the illustrations are also repainted & redrew.

The printed copies of the original handwritted book are limited for 100 numbered copies. The first 'master-copy' is very thick, writted into hazel-brown handmade-paper with black ink. It's not for sale yet. This is copy #25 of the reprinted copies.

Each copy is leather bound (red-brown 'antique' color), with silver ornaments on the corners (weight cca. 135gr.).

High: 30 cm, length: 22 cm, thickness: 5,5 cm, total weight about: 1 kg.

Each copies includes all the paintings (the Hobbits accross-the-water, the Lord of the Eagles, the Bilbo comes to the Reft-elves, the Conversation with Smaug) & drawings ( the Trolls, the Mountain-path, The Misty Mountains looking West, The Elvenking's Gate, the Lake Town, The Front Gate, The Hall at Bag-End) by Tolkien - and remade by the handwriter. Included are also the Map of Wilderland (by Tolkien) and the Map of Middle-Earth (by Shelly Sapiro). A special inset: the letter from Gandalf to Frodo that came to his hand too late in Bree, sealed with his ornamental 'G'-rune. This is handwritten for the each copy by itself - not printed !
